MEET THE OWNERS

We’re Al and Gabrielle — the husband-and-wife team behind Freedom Thread Co., raising three wild and wonderful kids and chasing our dreams one stitch at a time.

Born and raised in southern New Jersey, our journey has taken us across the world and back — from military deployments to starting a business in a tiny Japanese apartment, and now setting roots along the beautiful western slope of Colorado.

Al proudly served 10 years as an active duty Pararescueman in the U.S. Air Force before separating in 2024 to focus on faith, family, and building this business from the ground up. Gabrielle, a former teacher turned graphic designer and full-time mom, brings the heart and creative vision to the brand.

We’re building more than a business — we’re building a legacy. With the San Juan mountains as our backdrop and adventure in every direction, we’re doing our best to raise a family, serve others, and create something that reflects who we are and what we stand for.
