OUR STORY

Freedom Thread Co. began as a dream — a dream born in 2020 out of a deep passion for creativity, service, and the pursuit of purpose through entrepreneurship.

Shortly after casting that vision, we received orders overseas to Japan and put our plans on hold, but not our hope. In 2023, in a 900-square-foot apartment tucked away in Japan, we started from scratch — literally. With a manual sewing machine, a handful of materials, and a big leap of faith, we began handcrafting custom hats and laying the foundation for what would become Freedom Thread Co.

In 2024, we brought the business stateside and made the bold decision to separate from the military — trading one uniform of service for another: one stitched in freedom, faith, and family.

Today, we’re proud to create meaningful, high-quality custom apparel for people who live with intention, honor values, and aren’t afraid to wear their mission.
